HII requires an On-site Technical Representative in Keyport Washington to support U.S. Navy operations with our REMUS vehicles. Candidate will work closely with Navy personnel on-site at the Navy Keyport Washington UUVRON facility.

Candidate will report to the HII Program Office. Position will be on-site at the the Navy facility.

Candidate will perform the following tasks:

    • Local Troubleshooting Support: Estimated 10% of overall effort.
  • Conduct Local Training Events: Estimated 15% of overall effort

  • In Water Ops Advanced Tech Support: Estimated 20% of overall effort

  • Technical Data QA: Estimated 10% of overall effort

What you'll be doing...

Installs, operates, maintains, repairs and modifies equipment. Performs a variety of maintenance and technical support on products such as equipment, integrated systems and subsystems, and software at customer and/or field locations. Analyzes and evaluates products and related performance. Troubleshoots and diagnoses malfunctions to eliminate problem in minimum time. Installs, upgrades and removes products ensuring coordinative engineering field change. Maintains effective customer communications, relations, and provides onsite training.

What we are looking for...

Associates Degree or other 2 year technical degree in related discipline and 6 years related experience or High School Diploma or equivalent and 8 years related experience.

Familiarity with UUVs and/or ROVs and complex electromechanical systems in the maritime domain.

Ability to understand and convey technical documentation requirements (e.g. Procedures & Engineering drawings).

Knowledge of and experience with Configuration Management principles and DoD program execution.

Ability to conduct training classes and support training class development.

Demonstrated ability to perform troubleshooting on complex electromechanical systems that operate in the maritime domain. Direct experience with UUV hardware and software preferred.

Strong written and oral communication skills.

Demonstrated expertise with Microsoft office tools (Excel in particular)

Active Secret Clearance or ability to get a clearance quickly #LI-MH1

What we are looking for

  • High School Diploma or equivalent or related experience.

  • Ability to climb and descend shipboard ladders and to stand for extended periods.

Summary

What you will do

This position will be the Deputy Program Manager for the Refueling Complex Overhaul (RCOH) Group within Peninsula Operations. With the primary responsibility being production efforts for all RCOH Group tasking. Reports directly to the RCOH Program Manager (PM). Will be responsible for directing all phases and elements of projects, specifically production tasking, from inception through completion. What You Will Do

  • Responsible for the profit and loss (P and L) of a complex program(s).

  • Responsible for providing program management oversight to multiple customers requiring coordination of program requirements across planning stages with several subcontractors.

  • Responsible for the cost, schedule, and technical performance of company programs.

What you will do:

The selected individual will be required to interact with both internal and external parties and use computer applications daily to successfully research and clear material availability issues in support of their assigned area(s) of responsibility. Selected candidate will be required to communicate daily with their respective Construction Supervisor and/or Foreman to review the weekly work schedule, identify work package liabilities (ERs, unavailable material,etc.) and update status codes to ensure work package execution. Soft skils such as time management, cross platform communication, attention to detail, and able to work under pressure are some not all of the preferred skills for the position.

Plans, prepares, issues and controls production schedules and coordinates with material requirements to ensure a controlled flow of approved materials timed to meet production requirements. Advises management of the status of work in progress, material availability, and potential production problems to ensure that personnel, equipment, materials and services are provided as needed. Schedules equipment and personnel, confirms material supply and demands, prepares work orders or purchase requests for the production or purchase of components or parts based on a master production schedule, shop load and inventory requirements.
