Position Description

Our customer is tasked with developing, testing, procuring, fielding, and maintaining the FLRAA Weapon System with First Unit Equipped (FUE) scheduled for 2030.
Serco will provide Engineering, Logistics, and Acquisition and Strategic Planning Services to support of the Future Long Range Assault Aircraft (FLRAA) Project Management (PM) Office. The primary place of performance is Redstone Arsenal, Alabama or authorized virtual work location. Your will primarily support the Program Planning & Control (PP&C) Division.You will be joining a team of 25-40 full-time, highly experienced, and qualified acquisition, logistics and engineering professionals led and managed by Mr. Dave Schairbaum, who previously led the Air Force Combat Rescue Helicopter (CRH) development program as Program Director.
In this role, you will:
Support mission requirements and aligned task sets by managing information exchanges with internal and external stakeholders; archive key data and information within the Project Office SharePoint knowledge management system; develop, coordinate, refine policies and procedures, directives instructions, and other communications for Government review; research and advise Government leads for areas of responsibility; and, within defined constraints, represent Operations functional leadership at meetings and conferences.
Tasker & staff action management functions consistent with Government guidance; originate, coordinate, and assign tasker lead responsibility in the Project Office; SharePoint Task Management System (TMS); review Action Officer-generated draft taskers for completion prior to publishing tasking; officially publish taskers to subordinate organizations within the TMS; and track and report tasker status against external suspense dates.
Synchronizing and resourcing organizational engagements and key information. Lead and assist in activities required to plan, coordinate, resource, and execute organizational events (meetings, town halls, industry days, ceremonies).
Assist in coordinating and managing Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) administration requests. All responses to FOIA shall be IAW AR 25-55 and associated policies
Track taskers for the Project Office and coordinate with Government employees and other Contractor personnel throughout the organization to staff, draft answers, and track taskers with suspense to ensure a timely response IAW assigned suspense date. Receive, review, and assign taskers to subordinate elements
Assist and support policy development, assist in drafting documents and making recommendations in matters related to interpretation; implementation; formulation; and evaluation of operational and administrative policies, procedures, and processes related to the overall operation and management
Prepare, provide, and update briefings and communications for the Project Office. Coordinate with Government employees and other contractor personnel throughout the organization to prepare briefings, including communications with higher headquarters
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will have:
An active Secret clearance
Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Communications, Business Administration or related field
Eight (8) years of experience supporting federal programs (preferably for the DOD)
May substitute three (3) years of additional experience in lieu of degree
Demonstrated skills in operations management supporting technology development programs, including the development of strategic messaging and program communications support
Additional desired experience and skills:
Ability and willingness to travel up to an average of 25%
Ability and willingness to support full-time on-govt site support
Ability and willingness to support full-time, regular-recurring, and/or situational telecommuting
