Overview
Coordinates, monitors, administers, and services technical environments. Completes implementations, carries out integration activities, and provides operational support for technical environments. Perform basic/routine tasks with moderate scope and minor impact.
Responsibilities
Document problems and resolutions in organized technical detail including problem, cause, and solution
Execute service requests from service catalog
Operate and maintain high speed online printers for large scale computer operations
Perform test, configuration, environment and preventive maintenance activities
Research new technologies within existing infrastructure to optimize operational processes
Establish and test business recovery procedures, standards and policies
Identify, create, update and adhere to applicable standards and procedures
Identify, diagnose, troubleshoot, escalate and/or resolve technical problems
Monitor, troubleshoot and analyze systems/applications
Present clear, organized and concise information to all audiences through a variety of media to enable effective business decisions
Serve on teams and task groups for projects/initiatives within the business unit &/or across the organization
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Ability to document and apply policies, standards and procedures
Experience in problem resolution including determining root cause, scope and scale of issues
Exposure to validating system availability and performance
Working knowledge of enterprise systems, terminal knowledge and IT terminology
Working knowledge of technical inter-relationships between software/hardware and desktop/LAN/Host systems
Working knowledge of MVS and JES2 commands
Basic research, analytical, and problem solving skills
Effective skill exercising initiative and using good judgment to make sound decisions
Effective skill in producing desired results and achieving goals and objectives
Effective skill supporting a global 24/7, member/customer focused services operation
Effective verbal and written communication skills

Hours: 6PM - 6AM (Will train on days 6AM to 6PM)
Schedule: Week 1 - Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday / Week 2 - Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday
