Overview
Audacy is seeking a Business Systems Analyst to join their Corporate team in Philadelphia! This position will lead efforts to assess, analyze and document existing and new business processes and systems to identify opportunities for improvement. While this position is not specifically technical, the individual will partner with the Technology organization to ensure applications meet business requirements and continuous improvements are identified and implemented. The ideal candidate has a technical aptitude and has an understanding of core business operations and systems across multiple areas including finance, HR, compliance, payroll, legal, etc.
Responsibilities
What You'll Do:
Ability to determine, analyze, and assess full spectrum system capabilities and formulate and define systems scope and objectives based on both user needs and comprehension of applicable business systems and industry requirements
Perform risk assessment and develops contingency plans with possible alternatives and recommendations when unanticipated situations arise
Meet and communicate effectively with multiple levels of leadership throughout the enterprise to research, collaborate and implement projects based on the business needs
Effectively prepare/present meeting agendas, visual workflows and more to communicate project milestones to key stakeholders
Lead system requirements gathering sessions to identify critical business requirements for systems
Develop monitoring controls to assess effectiveness of systems and processes before and after changes
Work with third party vendors on integration and audit monitoring processes
Coordinate meetings to initiate working sessions, resolve project issues, etc., as needed
Create data flow diagrams and process flow diagrams to facilitate better system understanding
Conduct user acceptance testing to verify performance, reliability and identify any issues
Assist with technical audit requests

Qualifications:
Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or IT
3-5 years of relevant experience; i.e. experience with project management and / or business analytics and / or system evaluations & implementations
Strong skills in the following analytics tools: Excel, SQL, Tableau, PowerPoint, and/or Visio
At least a basic understanding of accounting and finance concepts an practices
Experience with: Project Management, Financial reporting, Accounting, and Document Management systems, a plus
