GENERAL SUMMARY
The Patient Information Security employee is responsible for greeting all persons entering the hospital. Demonstrates positive guest relations and creates a welcoming environment to hospital visitors. Reports to department leadership.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Provides information, appropriate passes and directions to guest.
Responds to telephone inquiries related to patient information in a timely manner.
Utilizes information systems in maintaining patient access and facility control.
Performs other duties as assigned.
LICENSES AND/OR CERTIFICATIONS
None required.
MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
High school graduate or equivalent.
Must possess basic computer skills.
Excellent telephone etiquette and customer skills.
Previous experience with automated visitor tracking software preferred.
CPR Training required and/or must be obtained within 45 days of hire.
WORKING CONDITIONS
Work is performed inside and outside the hospital in all weather.
