Position Description
Serco is seeking a Cost Analyst to join the team in the Dayton, OH office! Must be comfortable in a challenging, collaborative, multi-tasking, dynamic, high-tempo, deadline-intensive environment with a flexible work schedule supporting multiple customers. Some telework is an option!
As the Cost Analyst, you will provide cost estimating and analysis support to a variety of ongoing project teams as part of Serco-WBB's highly qualified interdisciplinary team of consultants.
The Cost Analyst will be expected to support a wide variety of analytical projects including working for and with a variety of DoD, Federal, and corporate customers. You will interface with customers on a regular basis to develop project requirements, collaborate and work on integrated teams, and to brief, defend, and support project results.
The position will develop cost estimates and models to support a wide range of end products to include, but not limited to:
Product Support Business Case Analysis (PSBCA)
Cost Benefit Analysis (CBA)
Analysis of Alternatives (AoA)
Life Cycle Cost Estimates
Total Ownership Cost (TOC) Analysis
Cost Analysis Requirements Document (CARD)
Acquisition Milestone Support
Develop, present, and defend cost estimates through various cost agencies (i.e., Air Force Cost
Analysis Agency), in addition to project customers
Provide objective cost/financial analysis, insight, and recommendations to customers
Participate in and/or lead collaborative working groups among a variety of government and industry organizations
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance
Bachelor's Degree
Five (5) to Seven (7) years of experience conducting cost analysis, financial management, execution, tracking, and program analysis
Knowledge/Experience using various cost estimating software tools (i.e., ACEIT and Crystal Ball)
Advanced Excel skills
Excellent listening as well as oral and written communication skills and be able to work collaboratively with customers and colleague
Additional desired experience and skils:
Active DoD Top Secret Clearance or ability to obtain one
MBA or Master's Degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Cost Estimating, Operations Research, or related discipline
PBBE Experience
Business - Life Cycle Logistics, Acquisition Professional Development Program, Level 2
Certified Defense Financial Manager
Certified Cost Estimator/Analyst
