The Accounts Payable Specialist will bring value to the organization by contributing to the goals set by the department. The duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, the following items:
Invoicing (High Volume) Invoices are received via email & USPS. They will be reviewed, sorted and processed timely.
Input invoices into our ERP system for approvals or 3-way match within days of receipt
Verify account coding for invoices routing for approval
Verify 3-way match for those invoices applied to Purchase orders
Reconciling Reconcile supplier statements monthly to ensure timely payment and or resolution for any issues.
Other reconciliation projects may be assigned as needed.
Customer Service Answer any questions from Suppliers regarding invoice or account status.
Assist internal employees with anything invoice or supplier account related.
Notify our suppliers at minimum monthly on discrepancies found on statements.
Minimum 2-year Accounts Payable experience required.
Must have prior office experience using all Microsoft office programs and specifically 10 Key, advanced MS Excel & Outlook.
Must have the ability to multi-task and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Strong attention to detail desired with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
