This Corporate Office role supports the Health & Life department in the operations of centralized benefits management for our over 16,000 US employees. Position includes vendor management, process improvement, and streamlining and managing plan operations to support initiatives while providing day-to-day assistance to HR Representatives and Corporate departments with the administration of ITW's Health and Life plans. Focus areas for this role will be wellness, compliance, communications, and review programs in support of fostering and reinforcing our D&I efforts.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Support optimum administration of H&L benefits through vendor management and effective processes
Collaborate/support H&L plan design, compliance, and communications
Develop/document processes (e.g., life events) and oversee processing by vendors
Identify, develop, and execute process improvements
Support RFP and insurance/vendor renewal process
Track/manage vendor SLAs
Lead/support special projects around initiatives
Troubleshoot escalated issues. Serve as liaison between H&L department and internal and external stakeholders such as field HR, HRIS, Payroll, Legal, consultants, and vendors
Coordinate with multiple vendors related to benefit implementation for new and restructured ITW business units
Support acquisitions and divestitures
Coordinate vendor financial reporting needs with H&L Analyst
Bachelor's degree in HR, business, or related degree area required
5+ years of Employee Benefits experience required
Strong working knowledge of Health and Life benefits (medical, prescription drug, life, accident, disability, and wellness) and administration
Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to interact with all levels of an organization
Ability to multi-task and prioritize
Strong project management and organizational skills
Strong Microsoft Office skills
