About the Position

Bonaventure Construction and Quality Assurance seeks a FIELD COORIDNATOR to be responsible for the oversight of multiple projects. You will be responsible from permit to certificate of occupancy, with a focus on building strong relationships with the construction and design teams. You will provide constant communication based on your visual inspections form site visits and weekly project meetings.

What You'll Do:

  • Function as the lead communicator from the field, representing the expectations of client, contractor and design team. Ensures comprehensive understanding by all team members of scope, quality expectations, budget, deadlines, etc. in order to deliver successful projects.

  • Attend construction meetings to support the coordination with all internal and external constituents to ensure project needs are met.

  • Track field changes and ensure that RFI, ASI, CO and Submittals are being processed to all parties in a timely fashion.

  • Collaborate with the design department for review of drawings, specifications and details to align with construction practices in the field.

  • Communicate construction developments of architectural details and construction practices that are being used in the field to inform future drawing development to the design team.

  • Works closely with all parties to resolve conflicts and differences observed in the field.

  • Performs other duties and special projects as required.

    Who You Are:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred with degree in Engineering, Architecture or Construction Management.

  • Alternatively, worked on construction site as project manager or superintendent.

  • Education and experience requirements may be satisfied through equivalent combination of education and job experiences on a case-by-case basis.

  • Clearly demonstrate ability to read blueprints.

  • 5-7 years' relevant work history in the construction field.

  • Strong listener and the ability to communicate both through written and oral means and provide excellent follow-up.

  • Demonstrate relationship building.

  • Solid experience with building products, construction details, and regulations is required.

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project.

  • Knowledge and ability to work in Procore platform.

  • Knowledge and ability to work in Bluebeam.

  • Flexibility to travel as needed including overnight stays up to 50% of the time.
