Supervisor, U.S. Navy OMMS-NG
Job Description
Coordinates, enters, tracks, closes, and analyzes maintenance and supply data in U.S. Navy OMMS-NG, R-Supply reports, and Microsoft Excel worksheets for U.S. Navy Support Element (NSE), Naval Construction Element (NCE), and other U.S. Navy organic equipment assigned to the project. Compiles maintenance and supply information to create or update reports. Maintenance Contractor's primary point of contact with the Government for OMMS-NG data and associated parts and material requirements. Coordinates with Government counterparts, Maintenance and Supply Managers/Supervisors, and other maintenance and supply administration personnel to process maintenance and supply forms, provide recommendations, and to communicate status of OMMS-NG maintenance and related supply actions. Assists Maintenance and Navy Supply Support employees performing technical research, requisitioning repair parts and other materials, and updating equipment maintenance records. Maintains and ensures compliance to administrative policies, procedures, and government regulations. Develops standard work procedures and instructions for OMMS-NG maintenance and integration of supply support processes. This position supervises one Process Control Analyst, U.S. Navy OMMS-NG. Performs other related duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications
Associate degree and/or course work toward a bachelor's degree in business, logistics, or engineering related discipline.
In lieu of a degree, a combination of college credits or other formalized U.S. Navy training and education may be considered.
Six (6) years supervisory experience.
Four (4) years of directly related work experience in U.S. Navy OMMS-NG System. Department or Command Coordinator experience is preferred.
Knowledge of U.S. Navy Support Element (NSE) watercraft or Construction Element (NCE) Civil Engineering Support Equipment (CESE) is preferred.
Demonstrate satisfactory written and oral communication skills.
Intermediate level working knowledge of Microsoft Office software.
Must have a current security clearance or be able to obtain a security clearance to access government websites.
Must pass a background check and be able to gain access to Marine Corps Support Facility Blount Island.
