What you will do:

  • Ensure that parts and materials used in the assembly process are free from quality defects

  • Inspect parts and materials to ensure they are free from quality defects

  • Paint parts per work instructions, standard operating procedures, blueprints, risk assessment, and job routing

  • Conduct operations level maintenance on all paint systems and equipment: paint kitchen, 2KS, paint booth, hoods, guns, etc.

  • Complete daily production logs to meet environmental and safety standards

  • Maintain routine housekeeping and perform activities to eliminate workplace hazards and handling of hazardous waste

  • Identify and relay information for correction on discrepancies in affected assembly processes, safety, quality, and production issues

  • Prioritize work to meet production schedules

  • All other duties as assigned

What you will have:

  • Previous paint application experience

  • Comfort with heights and utilization of ladders and lifts

  • Basic understanding of both hand and air (pneumatic) tooling Prioritize reliability and quality awareness

What would make you a top candidate:

  • Basic computer skills and knowledge of MS Office Applications (basic skills/knowledge - capable of functioning independently)Previous experience in a manufacturing/assembly environment

  • Forklift certification

  • Basic understanding of blueprints and 3D/2D imagery

  • Previous experience with compliant spray equipment

  • Good communication skills, both verbally and written

  • Must be capable of working in a participative, team-based culture

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods

  • Ability to perform repetitive operations

  • Ability to lift up to 35 pounds

  • $2 0 00 sign-on bonus ($250 at 30 days, $500 at 60 days, $500 at 75 days and$750 at 90 days)
