Job Description:
The Global Finance Manager coordinates inputs from financial planning teams, monitors financial planning activities and develops strategic plans to increase an organization's operational efficiency and financial profitability.
Job Responsibilities:
- Presenting research and analysis findings, competitor analysis, financial forecasts and key insights to the senior management, and assisting them in making corporate and strategic decisions.
- Working closely with top management and other key stakeholders to prepare annual budgets and formulate strategic plans to meet business objectives.
- Maintaining current knowledge of organizational policies and procedures providing guidance to others in the business.

Knowledge of business concepts, tools, and processes that are needed for making sound decisions in the context of the company's business; ability to apply this knowledge appropriately to diverse situations.
- Influences the manner in which business decisions are made in the organization.

- Designs and implements customer and product profitability systems and practice.
- Coaches others in the use of financial management practices and tools.
- Designs financial analysis approaches and modeling specific to the business.
- Reviews key financial and performance indicators used by the corporation.

Knowledge of the processes, customs, policies, and rules affecting the way the organization is administered and controlled; ability to ensure compliance with governance guidelines and policies.
- Ensures that internal business practices mirror industry-standard best practices.
- Describes experiences in the development of governance policies or practices.
- Complies with codes of ethics that benefit the overall good of all constituents.
- Ensures clear and timely disclosure of relevant business performance data to all stakeholders.
- Implements procedures to verify and safeguard the integrity of all financial reporting.

Financial Forecasting and Modeling:

- Evaluates the key benefits and drawbacks of alternative models.
- Uses financial models to seek investment opportunities, cost-savings ideas, and growth opportunities.
- Utilizes the features and facilities of multiple modeling tools applicable to various situations.
- Participates in making business decisions based on financial forecasts and models.
- Consults on the application of a variety of forecasting and modeling techniques.
- Analyzes and resolves anomalies discovered when running models.
