Organization: Fleet Support and Technical Services
Location: Hybrid. Occasional on-site meetings across the state.
** Must live in or be willing to relocate to the state of Georgia. Relocation assistance NOT provided.
Must be available for after-hours restoration support -- on- and off-system -- as needed.
Must be able to telecommute, including having access to reliable cellular and broadband internet service.
Infrequent overnight travel for off-site meetings.
Job Summary
The Fleet Specialist will perform tasks related to our transportation and power-operated equipment maintenance program, customer service, and administrative processes, supporting GPC Fleet's overall operational efficiency and effectiveness.
Summary of Position Duties and Responsibilities
Act as a liaison between Fleet Service Centers and our operators to assist with the planning and scheduling of work on over 5,000 Fleet assets, utilizing the Hexagon Enterprise Assess Management system, Microsoft Bookings, and Office 365/Mobi apps.
Support the GPC Telematics Program, including system administration and user support of the electronic Driver Vehicle Inspection Report application.
Monitor data and generate reports for leadership utilizing Hexagon EAM and Geotab, including areas such as asset fault code monitoring, campaign completions, pre-in-service work performance, and preventive maintenance program compliance.
Champion the continued improvement and adoption of Hexagon EAM; recommend, evaluate, and document new or updated processes within EAM; train others in EAM processes as needed.
Perform regular audits of asset and maintenance-related information, such as preventive maintenance checklists, associated reference documents, maintenance patterns, and task plan/standard work order estimated times.
Subject Matter Expert and primary support contact for Fleet's mobile devices (iPads).
Job Experience and Education: High School diploma or equivalent is required. Technical School Diploma or College Degree is a plus.
Experience
Demonstrated ability to coordinate and schedule the work of others.
Familiar with Apple IOS and comfortable supporting mobile device users remotely.
2 years experience in customer service and operations experience required.
Previous experience with work/asset management and scheduling systems desired.
Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, TEAMS, and PowerPoint required.
Proven record of successful teamwork on cross-functional teams.
The ability to effectively communicate at all levels with strong communication, interpersonal, and networking skills.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
Ability to quickly learn new technologies and adapt and grow with those technologies.
Familiarity with Fleet's assets and Maintenance Program a plus.
Excellent organizational and time management skills; the ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously with a high degree of accuracy is a must.
Ability to get technical work done through others.
