The ePowertrain Simulation Team Leader for ePowertrain NPI simulation team works closely with the ePowertrain component and sub-system teams (power-source, power electronics, motors, and controls) to simulate ePowertrain system performance for a particular ePowertrain configuration. This role will be responsible for managing all ePowertrain NPI simulation requests and allocating resources for each request. This role will also work with the ePowertrain simulation team to develop our core simulation processes and ensure that these processes are documented and followed. This role will also work to develop new simulation capabilities that are necessary to predict ePowertrain system performance and durability as well as working with the ePowertrain simulation manager for forecasting future workload and resource needs.
Job Duties

This role will also work to develop new simulation capabilities that are necessary to predict ePowertrain system performance and durability as well as working with the ePowertrain simulation manager for forecasting future workload and resource needs.
Day-to-Day Activities Include
Managing all ePowertrain NPI simulation requests and allocating resources for each request
Manage development of our core simulation processes and ensure that these processes are documented and followed
Manage development of new simulation capabilities that are necessary to predict ePowertrain system performance and durability
Communicate with ePowertrain system, sub-system, and component teams to ensure that all the necessary simulation models are being developed in order to successfully simulate the performance and/or durability of the ePowertrain system.
Manage simulation team to ensure proper documentation of simulation models and version control is executed using proper version control software.
Provide estimates of cost and duration for completing simulation tasks requested by internal ePowertrain system, subsystem, or component design teams.
Report progress on simulation request.
Forecast simulation demand as well as resources needed to successfully complete those requests.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering AND
At least 6-9 Years of Full-time work experience using simulation.
Top Candidates will also have:
Advanced Engineering Degree
Experience developing and applying 1D physics-based simulation
