What you'll do here: The Gale Academic Literature Team creates, acquires, and prepares high-quality, digital content for Gale eBooks and databases. We are the content authority for Gale's academic literature products. We work closely with internal and external partners daily. We meet requirements, schedules and budgets and own the content life cycle, from concept to completion. The ideal candidate is organized, thorough, and committed to learn about literature needs within academic library and classroom environments worldwide. Eager to Gain Skills Related to Gale Content Processes: + Using text, image, video, and metadata content workflows consistently. + Meeting schedule, data integrity, technical, quality, and cost requirements. + Displaying effective time, resource, and vendor management. + Applying content standards and guidelines. + Implementing new processes and approved standards and correcting errors with minimal consultation. + Confirming integrity and quality of content using quality assurance tools and processes. + Using available metrics and tools to analyze content usage. + Providing timely and accurate content information. + Analyzing customer feedback, market trends, and competitor strengths and weaknesses and makes strategic content recommendations. + Performing additional responsibilities as needed.
