Position Description
Serco has a great Part- Time opportunity to provide Customer and programatic Support at the Stennis Space Enter in MS. If you are looking to advance your career, then this is the opportunity for you!
Duties include but are not limited to:
Provide direct support to Government personnel in pursuing new work associated with the naval efforts.
Provide Government/Industry customer support services and backup/follow-up to new business opportunities.
Plan and execute requested company meetings, visits, and events.
Provide schedule of activities and status updates to the Project Manager and Project Staff.
Collect and consolidate into a Spend Plan the Department's annual planned acquisitions.
Establish required submission dates for procurement packages that will ensure sufficient processing time to obligate funds.
Track and report the status/progress of planned acquisitions to Business Ops management.
Track and report the expiration dates of maintenance and service contracts, software licenses, and contract options.
Monitor government procurement regulation and policy changes and propose updates to N9 Business Ops processes to ensure compliance.
Provide training and assistance to N9 personnel on current processes and documentation requirements for procurement packages.
Output includes spreadsheets, reports, meeting attendance, and training materials.
Qualifications
Required Skills:
BA Business degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
Experience working with customer business processes
Minimum of two (2) years' experience working within Defense
Ability to relate effectively to senior level executives in a Government environment
Must have active Secret Clearance.
Highly Desirable skills:
Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Certification Level II and up
Additional certificates or training in Acquisitions
