Mission Technologies, a division of Huntington Ingalls Industries, has a great opportunity for an Industrial Security Analyst in our Crane, IN location.
In this position you will carry out the security measures necessary for implementing requirements of the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM), government security regulations, and company security policies and procedures. Primary duties include the execution of the daily security program requirements as well as participation and contribution to the company's security program. Conduct security briefings and administers an effective security education program.
This opportunity works with our Logistics, ISR, and Next-Gen Technology (LOGIX) TO that focuses on ILS to support as envisioned by the JADC2 Strategy of moving to joint/combined capability development. The LOGIX TO will also support the JADC2 goal to deliver a relevant information advantage with ISR operations and logistics support. To support continued progress and sustainment of the JADC2 Strategy, the LOGIX TO support the accelerated application of technological solutions by analyzing new and emerging technologies for DIU-NSIN Mission Partner systems, technologies, capabilities, platforms, equipment, and associated subordinate and supporting systems used to execute their missions.
Responsibilities: I want to and can do that!
- Support all aspects of the National Industrial Security Program (NISP) and other security activities for HII Mission Technologies, personnel security, and interpretation/preparation/maintenance of prime and subcontract DD Form 254 for classified contracting.
- Conduct Personnel Security actions including Foreign Travel briefing, reporting, and debriefing. Initiate and submit clearance investigations for members. Process various security forms for CACs and access to government systems. Process outgoing visit requests to customers for member access.
- Provide guidance and instruction to employees to ensure completion of security paperwork.
- Review all personnel security paperwork for accuracy, completion, and submission via eAPP and other methods.
- Assist in Personnel Security Actions such as managing the continuing eligibility program for employees.
- Act as COMSEC Account Manager to include tracking, safeguarding, coordinating, and reporting account activities.
- Support FSOs for Security Vulnerability Assessments.
- Maintain visitor control functions and verifying visit authorization requests (VARs) for submission.
- Prepare, track, and monitor DD254's forms for subcontractors ensuring 100% accuracy and completeness.
- Ensure accuracy of the Access Commander database and other security tools.
- Understanding of Title 32 CFR Part 117, SEAD3 reporting requirements.
- Provide guidance and instructions to all employees to ensure any event, circumstance, or act that could be considered a breach of security is reported immediately.
- Provide oversight for programs for the protection of classified information and Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) as well as proprietary information.
- Conduct security trainings, briefings, and debriefings.
- Administer Defense Information for Security System (DISS) and the National Background Investigation Services (NBIS) activity including processing and maintaining personnel security clearances and visit requests.
- Knowledge of DoD, DOE, and/or other industrial security programs a plus.
- In-depth knowledge of the 32 CFR Part 117 NISPOM Rule.
- Thorough knowledge of using/applying US Government online programs such as eAPP, DISS, and NBIS.
- Prepare reports and presentations for all levels of Management including Senior Management
- Maintain all records in compliance with our security manual and procedures.
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task with minimal supervision.
Requirements: I have already done that or have it!
- 6 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 4 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 10 years relevant experience.
- Top Secret/SCI clearance
- Strong knowledge of the NISPOM and the aspects specific to the execution of the Industrial Security Program. To include personnel security; classified information systems Assessment & Authorization; classified contract management and contract security classification specification (DD254) preparation; physical security; insider threat program; counterterrorism and counterintelligence; administrative inquiries, etc.
- Strong knowledge and use of Department of Defense systems and applications which includes NISS, DISS, and NBIS (to include eAPP).
- Must have an in-depth knowledge and familiarity with Intelligence Community Directives (ICD); DoD Manuals, and other related security requirements.
- Working knowledge of ICD-705 Construction requirements
- Knowledge of SCIF accreditation and management requirements.
- COMSEC Account Manager experience and training.
- Knowledge and experience enforcing security policies and procedures.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient Microsoft Office skills.
- Knowledge of the DOE, Intelligence Community, and other Government security regulatory manuals a plus.
Preferred Requirements
- Facility Security Officer Program Management for Possessing Facilities certificate of completion a plus.
- Establishing an Insider Threat Program Course certificate completion, a plus.
- Working knowledge of ACCS
