Candidate must live in or near the Metro Atlanta OR be willing to quickly move to the area.

JOB SUMMARY:

This position will be responsible for assuring that all interval metered industrial, commercial and load research accounts are processed accurately and efficiently. The successful candidate will provide support for remote meter operations and troubleshoot interval data and billing meter application related problems for Special Service Accounts.

The position working hours are 6:30am - 3:30pm, Monday - Friday with occasional -On-Call- assignments/irregular hours when required. The MDM Meter Analyst must be able to work effectively with Customer Services, Special Service Accounts, Metering Services Engineering, Field Support, and the Information Technology organizations to ensure operational goals are achieved.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Education and Job Experience:

  • A two-year or four-year degree preferred.

  • Previous experience working with any combination of accounting process and rates, data analysis, billing and or metering desired.

  • Candidates should be able to demonstrate a stable work record, with evidence of increasing responsibility and challenging work assignments.

  • A minimum of three (3) years' experience in Customer Services, Metering Services, Information Technology or Distribution operations

  • Experience performing data analysis and reporting desired.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

  • Working knowledge of GPC industrial and commercial billing processes desired

  • Working knowledge of CSS, METS/WattNetPlus and MV-90 highly desired

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook

  • Excellent organizational skills

  • Ability to work well with others across the Special Service Accounts, Field Services Support, and Metering Services departments.

  • Possess strong attention to detail with managing multiple activities.

  • Ability to manage complex technology and business issues.

  • Excellent keyboarding / typing and computer skills required (Including #10 keypad usage)
