The ATI National Sales Consultant's primary role is to acquire new members (clients) through the sale of ATI's -Re-Engineering Program- (coaching and training) packages to prospects who attend ATI one-day owner's events (virtual and live). These events are primarily pre-filled by ATI Inside Sales Reps. The ATI Re-engineering Program is geared exclusively for owners of independent automotive repair and collision shops.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

  • During the virtual webinars and one-day workshop events we identify specific, individual benefits that will help attending shop owners invest in ATI Re-Engineering.

  • Sales Consultant will learn ATI's consulting process which will be used to develop relationships with the assigned, attending shop owners during the seminar. As a part of this structured process, the Sales Consultant will also set appointments to conduct the after-event personalized, shop strategy session.

  • The Sales Consultant will learn and present the Road Map and Pro Forma process in order to sell the Re-Engineering program to qualified attendees.

  • Negotiate details of 30 and 48-month contracts and review payment options to provide confidence to the shop owners of the programs value.

  • Maintain a clear understanding of the ATI Re-Engineering Program to best present program benefits.

  • Sales Consultant is responsible for learning all administrative paperwork involved in selling Re-Engineering packages.

  • Sales Consultant is responsible for creating awareness and demand for the ATI Re-Engineering program and services through industry events and referrals.

  • Monitor market conditions, trends in the automotive aftermarket, as well as new initiatives from the competition.

  • Sales Consultant is responsible for learning best practice transitions for new members who join the program.

  • Sales Consultant will be responsible for a weekly write up of activity, lessons learned and document notes and provide short and long-term sales forecasts.

  • Performing other duties as assigned.

  • Minimum ten years of experience in a direct, outside selling environment

  • Knowledge and ability to demonstrate various relationship sales techniques

  • Knowledge of best business practices including finance, sales and marketing

  • Automotive industry experience preferred

  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships

  • Flexible, creative, and able to work in a non-structured developing work environment

  • Demonstrated capacity to think creatively, communicate and motivate shop owners

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs

  • Previous experience working Salesforce preferred

  • Excellent oral/written communication skills, including well-developed presentation skills

  • Excellent customer relationship skills

  • Ability to travel on a semi-fulltime basis for live events when applicable

  • Adhere to all travel policy requirements

  • Ability to work nights and weekends as needed

  • Bachelor's degree in business or related field preferred
