Job Description:

This position is responsible for providing accurate distribution model, map products, overlays, and data extraction in support of distribution planning projects. This position is also responsible to perform quality control to produce accurate Distribution Electrical Model of GPC's Distribution System using GIS Data, Electrical Engineering Data Sights, AMC Data, Google & Bing Street View, and many other resources. This position requires knowledge of CYME, GIS software (primarily), along with the ability to create, edit and extract GIS data.

Education Requirement:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

  • Associate Degree or Certificate in CAD/CYME/GIS

  • Bachelor's degree in related field is a plus

Experience Requirement:

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience using CYME modeling, CAD/GIS

  • Working knowledge of CYME software and GIS software

  • Strong Computer Skills

Job responsibilities:

  • Provide accurate distribution model and map products

  • Perform quality control of GIS data to produce quality distribution model

  • Understand project requirements and ensure schedules are met

  • Work within a flexible, fast changing team environment ensuring customer's needs are met

Knowledge, skills, and abilities

  • Strong computer skills in standard software packages (Microsoft office products, etc...)

  • Capable of meeting strict deadlines and quality control standard

  • Good teamwork, interpersonal skills, and communication skills

  • Demonstrate professionalism and DEI in work environment
