Waste Connections is looking to hire a Dispatcher for our Acworth, Georgia location.
In this position you will schedule and dispatch workers, work crews, equipment, or service vehicles for conveyance of materials, freight, or passengers, or for normal installation, service, or emergency repairs rendered outside the place of business. Duties may include using radio, telephone, or computer to transmit assignments and compiling statistics and reports on work progress.
This position is Monday-Friday 8 am to 5pm. On top of competitive pay we offer family benefits, 401k, vacation, and year round stable work.
IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL POSSESS:
Manage large amounts of incoming calls
Attracts potential customers by answering product and service questions; suggesting information about other products and services.
Generating sales leads that develop into new customers
Identify and assess customers' needs to achieve satisfaction
Build sustainable relationships and trust with customer accounts through open and interactive communication
Handle customer complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits; follow up to ensure resolution.
Keep records of customer interactions, process customer accounts and file documents
Maintains a positive attitude while engaged with customers
Type 40+ wpm , Computer experience including Microsoft Office experience.
Organization and multitasking skills
Bilingual Spanish/English a plus.
