Here, you will make an impact by:Researching and selecting the most appropriate and efficient product packaging solutions for new product launchesModifying and improving existing packaging designs, processes and/or methods for improved customer satisfaction, quality improvement, sustainability and/or operational improvementsFollowing prescribed federal, state, and international packaging regulatory requirements as defined by Corporate Package Engineering.Planning and producing or managing graphics design projects of moderate scope and complexity. Researching, interpreting and analyzing information/data from various sources to assist in the completion of packagingrequests and projects.Assisting division engineering and other clients in the selection, qualification, and installation of package equipment.Willing to support multiple locations remotely and on site. Your Skills and Expertise To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:Bachelors degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institutionThree (3) months of engineering/design experience in a private, public, government or military environment (this could include Full-time employment or internship experience)Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:Three (3) years of relevant working experience in a private, public, government or military environmentThorough knowledge of theories and practices, typically applied to one or more disciplines within Package Engineering organizational areas such Client Services, Continuous Improvement, Systems, Quality, Regulatory Affairs Management Center (RAMC), Graphics Design, etc.Thorough knowledge of assigned area of responsibility, general 3M structure, organization, and business.
