What you'll do here: This is a full-time, contract-based position reporting directly to the Digital Production Manager. This position is part of the National Geographic Learning team responsible for the development of English language teaching (ELT) curriculum used by learners world wide. The Digital Production Project Manager works within a Content Management System to perform advanced technical tasks related to the delivery of digital textbooks, assessments and other resources to be used by students and faculty. + Successfully deliver concurrent projects to digitize and import content into content management systems and platforms for delivery to users. + Perform highly technical or complex tasks such as create course structures, generate course access codes, and publish content to the CMS platform. + Troubleshoot and resolve or report bugs and other issues. + Perform ongoing maintenance and support of live products. Skills you will need here: + At least two years of relevant work experience working in content management systems. + Strong organizational skills with a deliberate attention to details + Hold a technical acumen and familiarity with curriculum authoring tools. + Navigate project roadblocks with flexibility/adaptability; seeks to resolve with urgency. + Proficiency with Smartsheets or other project management tools + Excellent verbal/written communication skills and experience using online digital tools + Ability to work autonomously in a remote setting + Education technology and/or digital publishing experience preferred At National Geographic Learning, a part of Cengage Group, we are enabling opportunity, powering progress, and supporting student journeys toward college and career.
