Job Description:
The Jr. Planner interfaces with multiple departments and organizations and is primarily responsible for ensuring project deliverables are completed on schedule.

Essential Functions:
Communicate, Coordinate, and Negotiate workflow through multiple work centers via various functional organizations to secure needed resources while ensuring changing customer demands, and schedule deadlines are met.
Expedite flow of materials, parts, and assemblies within or between departments in accordance with production and shipping schedules.
Monitor order status, including material status, managing WIP areas, location accuracy, inventory discrepancies, manufacturing and program support, and communication support.
Ensure availability of materials to meet production requirements and delivery commitments. Works to resolve material shortages, backlogs and other potential schedule interruptions.
Lead schedule meetings for main production area.
Assist Sr. planners with daily tasks and documentation.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a US Security clearance.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience or in lieu of a degree, minimum of 4 years of prior Production Planning experience.
2 years professional experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, Project, and PowerPoint).
Must be able to obtain and maintain a US Security Clearance.
Preferred Additional Skills:
Top Secret clearance preferred.
Experience with ERP/MRP systems is preferred.
1-2 years of Production Planning experience preferred.
In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role is $65,000 - $76,000. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
