We are looking for a dynamic individual to join our Americas Distribution, Service & Marketing (ADSM) Division.

The Technical Information Solutions (TIS) team, within Global Service (Americas Distribution Service & Marketing), create and deliver the technical parts and service information critical for the repair and service of Caterpillar products. Not a part gets sold, nor a machine or engine repaired, without the use of the information created, managed, and delivered by this team.

As a Media Operations Consultant in the TIS Strategy & Commercial team, you would have ownership of publications.cat.com - A Caterpillar owned, multi-million-dollar website, retailing technical & market media directly to dealers, customers, suppliers and employees that is essential to our business. You will partner with business owners and suppliers to design and execute a world class customer experience by creating, analyzing and validating business requirements to enhance their web experience. You will have the opportunity to set precedents which require both creative thinking as well as ensuring compliance of Caterpillar standard processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure marketing & technical media is available to order by dealers, customers, and employees on our world class Caterpillar storefront

  • Maintain an excellent user-experience through the timely resolution of system issues including internal process partners and vendors

  • Execute changes to prices, offerings, etc., derived from business requirements, voice of dealer and/or voice of customer to our storefront

  • Ensure SOX documentation/compliance excellence in our processes

  • Assist with supplier contracts to secure the best rates and quality for dealers and customers on a global scale

  • Other duties as assigned by Caterpillar management from time-to-time

Basic Requirements:

  • 3 years of previous work experience within one of the following areas: Information Technology (IT), Customer/Dealer Relations, Product Support, Marketing, or Engineering

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Top Candidates will also have:

  • Experience in Web Content Management and an understanding of HTML, CSS, and Java Scripting

  • Experience with MS Excel pivot tables and executing mass changes to large volumes of data

  • Experience with PowerPoint creation to propose and promote ideas for improvements

  • Experience in project management in either Waterfall or Agile methodologies

Additional Information:

  • This position may require up to 5% domestic travel
