Job Description

Overview

Create fraud mitigation strategies by providing quantitative and qualitative data analysis and reporting of patterns, insights, and trends to leadership. Utilize business intelligence tools to analyze and address fraud-related issues by integrating and evaluating data from both internal systems and external sources. Develop insights to identify fraudulent patterns, assess risks, and implement strategies to mitigate fraud effectively. Entry level professional with developing skill set and a basic understanding of data analysis and fraud intelligence.

Responsibilities

  • Investigate the card portfolio for anomalies and fraud trends

  • Identify trends and patterns related to fraudulent activities and assist in preparing ongoing reports to support business decisions

  • Provide actionable insights to enhance fraud detection and prevention efforts

  • Contribute to reports that show key performance indicators, identify areas of improvement into current operations, and display root cause analysis of problems

  • Partner with leaders and senior staff to define specifications for analysis based on business needs and required on available data elements

  • Utilize and adhere to data governance documents and procedures; alert supervisor if an inconsistency or inaccuracy is discovered during the course of analysis

Qualifications

  • Familiarity with business intelligence applications and/or cloud services

  • Familiarity with JMP, Excel, and SQL

  • Basic understanding of visualization & reporting components using Power Bi

  • Knowledge of statistical methods, mathematical techniques, forecasting, cost-benefit analysis

  • Basic knowledge of credit/debit cards, and knowledge in Regulation E and Regulation Z

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Statistics, Economics, or related field

Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:30AM - 5:00PM
