The Role
The Iron Technician Trainee assists Iron Technicians throughout the inspection and refurbishment process of pressure pumping equipment.
Starting rate at $18.00 an hour, and increases depending on experience
Job* *Duties/Responsibilities *may include, but are not limited to:*

Demonstrate consistency, accountability, reliability and solid work ethic
Exhibit a high degree of integrity at all times
Disassembly/Assembly of various mechanical components such as valves & other swiveling/rotating assemblies .
Cleans and prepares components for Visual Inspection, Gauging, and other Non-destructive tests
Ability to comprehend Standard Operating Procedures and Risk Assessments
Reasonable ability to perform basic computer functions . Performs other routine duties as requested
Performs other duties as assigned

Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Occasionally required to sit; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
Must be able to wear protective footwear and other Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required by the department
Work Environment:
Regularly exposed to fumes or airborne particles
Frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts and outside weather conditions
Occasionally exposed to high, precarious places and vibration
Noise Level: Moderate
