Overview

As ISD Engineer III - Oracle Fusion ERP Security Administrator, the candidate is responsible for managing and maintaining the security of Oracle Fusion Financials applications. This role involves implementing and enforcing security policies, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and safeguarding sensitive financial data.

The person will provide security administration advice and solutions to implement Oracle Cloud Fusion Financials, ensuring the designed solutions are workable by coding or piloting in key modules, and being agile and innovative to solve business problems. Individuals in this role will work on multiple highly complex projects and require technical knowledge of Oracle cloud security architecture and have experience of Oracle cloud technology stack. Additionally, the candidate will be expected collaborate in multiple engagements across the product teams.

This role also requires outstanding communications and coordination skills.

Responsibilities

- Be part of a team that works with the development and integration of Oracle Cloud Fusion Financials with respect to application/enterprise capabilities and software for multiple on-going projects, collaborating closely with enterprise and solution architects, aligning to most current strategies.

- Develop and implement security policies and procedures for the Oracle Fusion ERP Cloud application.

- Define and implement access controls to ensure that only authorized users have access to financial data.

- Build custom roles by tailoring Oracle seeded roles as per the business requirement review and audit end user accounts, permissions, and access rights. Align segregation of duties and security profiles.

- Configure and maintain user accounts within the system, assigning appropriate roles, and permissions, monitoring user role changes over time and revoking access when necessary. Ensure timely inactivation of accounts in the offboarding process.

- Manage users access and provision roles and data access based on organization-defined data security policies and the user role matrix.

- Triage, troubleshoot, and resolve security issues.

- Implement monitoring and reporting mechanisms to track user activity. Review and audit end user accounts, permissions, and access rights; and, ensure that audit trails and logging mechanisms are in place to facilitate auditing.

- Define and enforce segregation of duties (SoD) policies to prevent conflicts of interest that could result in financial fraud. Align segregation of duties and security profiles in accordance with SOX requirements.

- Work closely with the internal audit team to provide necessary information and support for SOX audits, documenting systems and procedures to support security audits and ITCG controls.

- Ensure compliance with all security policies, such as SOX, and that the appropriate evidence is maintained and easily accessible and reportable.

- Provide training and support to end-users on security policies and procedures to ensure compliance with SOX controls.

- Conduct periodic security assessments of the system, identifying vulnerabilities, and implementing remediation plans to address any issues.

- Responsible for reviewing and remediating security related enhancements and impacts provided with Oracle patches and quarterly releases.

- Collaborating with other IT teams on projects and initiatives as needed

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or the equivalent combination of education, training, and experience

- Experience with Oracle Applications particularly Oracle Cloud Fusion Financials and Oracle Integration Cloud, and Cloud Infrastructure/Solutions

- 5+ years of experience in Oracle Fusion Financial Applications security with a minimum of 3 years experience in Oracle Fusion Cloud Security Administration.

- Knowledge of Oracle Fusion Financial Applications security best practices and standards.

- Experience with Oracle Cloud role design across functional (ERP, EPM, OTBI) and technical (e.g. - Security Console, Setup & Maintenance, OIC) domain areas and hands on experience in updating and implementing user security with Oracle Cloud Security.

- Experience with developing, implementing, and enforcing security policies.

- Experience with documentation maintenance for Cloud Fusion ERP Application configurations, technical objects, and procedures.

- Strong understanding of IT security principles and technologies

- Strong understanding of ITCG and SOX controls

- Strong understanding of financial data protection, compliance, and security best practices

- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills. Excellent technical problem-solving skills with ability to work independently and in a team-oriented manner. Ability to troubleshoot complex issues and propose solutions.

- Excellent organizational, communication, and presentation skills

- Must be highly self-motivated. Effective time management skills and ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines, handle multiple tasks and set priorities. Ability to lay out a plan and coordinate activities.

- Flexible and adaptable in prioritizing workloads, coping with pressures, deadlines, and rapidly changing situations.

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross function teams.

Desired Qualifications:

- Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field

- Knowledge of banking/financial industry trends, products, and services (desired)

- Knowledge of Navy Federal products, services, programs, policies, and procedures (desired)

- Technical certifications for Oracle Cloud Applications and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (desired)

- Experience with a Ticketing system such as Service Now.

- Experience with Oracle Risk Management Cloud (RMC) and/or Advanced Access Controls (AAC) Cloud is a definite plus.
