As an IT Analyst III (Data Scientist) within our Logistics Information Services division this role will have responsibility for providing enhancements to our data warehouse and performing data analytics on our data warehouse. Innovation is a big part of what we do and there will be opportunities to develop data warehouse, data analytics and machine learning solutions.
Job Duties (includes but not limited to) :
This is a techno-functional role requiring both Data science and data analytics development skills
Provide IT support and maintenance on our data warehouse
Coordinate & communication across global IT teams and internal business groups
Collaborate with our internal business partners to define requirements, design, and contribute to building solutions.
Provide input and expertise to our data scientist initiatives (mentoring of newer Data Science members)
Adherence to SOX & IT Controls
Assists as needed during escalated incident resolution.
Basic Qualifications :
Position requires an IT related bachelor's degree and a minimum of 4 years of related IT experience.
3 years of experience in predictive and prescriptive analytics.
3 years of programing expertise in python and in SQL.
Developmental experience in providing AI/ML solutions for Time series, NLP and operational data using tree based and deep learning techniques.
Working knowledge of Snowflake and Cloud based Mlops tools.
Fair knowledge in Data collection, Data cleansing and statistical Data analysis techniques.
Top Candidates will also have :
Master's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or closely related field
1+ year Warehouse Logistics experience.
Working knowledge of Snaplogic, Dataiku, PowerBI and Snowflake.
Must be a team player, excellent communication skills, ability to multitask effectively, strong analytical and organizational skills.
Understanding of SAP/Mainframe landscapes.
Additional Information:
No relocation is offered for this position.
This position is in Morton, IL
Must be willing to travel to our Morton IL office 1-2 times per week (or as needed when requested)
Must be willing to travel up to 10% of working time
