Position Description
The Training Development Specialist (TDS) works under the direction of program leadership, supporting the program's training needs to ensure consistency and a one-operational philosophy. The TDS will be skilled with MSTeams and other tools to deliver engaging materials that enable a hybrid working environment. Facilitation skills are required to deliver effective training and activities. Strong writing, listening and organizational strengths are needed to support PMO level policy and meeting documentation deliverables. A highly creative and engaged individual will be successful in this role. Additional skills and abilities: utilize video, graphics, other media, and programs, innovative, flexible, initiative-driven, and independent.
Support/participate in tasks and projects related to policy and training development, facilitation, and communications, including but not limited to:
Program-wide collecting, synthesizing, developing, and disseminating information to a variety of stakeholders.
Research, development, construction, and organization of program policies.
Documentation and execution of initiatives directed at program and project leadership including but not limited to setting up collaboration tools such as Microsoft Teams.
Establish communications channels, stakeholder registers and documentation of program wide successes.
Other projects as assigned in support of Sr. Program manager and Director initiatives.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's Degree
General:Three (3) of relevant work experience which can include but not be limited to: employee benefit field, claims processing, billing, payroll, banking, human resources, customer service representative, quality review analysts, etc. Four (4) years of progressive experience may be substituted for a degree.

Ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships with others, both internally and externally, to achieve the goals of the organization.
Manage multiple tasks, often with competing deadlines.
Communicate effectively, with ability to propose, present and explain concepts to our client; senior management, peers and others.
Determine strategies to move the organization forward, set goals, create and implement actions plans, and evaluate the process and results.
Assess problem situations to identify causes, gather and process relevant information, generate possible solutions, and make recommendations and/or resolve the problem.
Must be able to obtain and/or maintain a Public Trust Security clearance.
