Pioneer, a Waste Connections Company, has an immediate position available for a Scale Attendant at our location in Clackamas, OR.
The schedule will be Monday-Friday, 6 am-2:30 pm. The starting pay for this position is $21-$23/HR .
Responsibilities Include:
Weighing 3rd party customers in and out of the site
Recording vehicle weights in computer system
Answering incoming calls
Greeting truck drivers in a friendly manner
Trouble shoot any issues the drivers may have
Providing manifests to drivers to ensure loads are compliant with state and federal laws
Scheduling appointments for incoming materials
Inspecting incoming containers for damage and taking pictures
Perform all other administrative duties as assigned
Clearly communicating with coworkers via radio
Bilingual in English and Spanish is a huge plus.
Requirements:
At least 1 year of work experience. Preferably in a position where you utilize customer service skills.
The ability to sit and stand throughout an 8 hr shift.
Ability to work outside in all types of weather.
Ability to multi-task and clearly communicate with customers and coworkers in a fast-paced environment
Must pass drug screen and pre-employment background check.
