Key Responsibilities:
The VP understands that healthcare has changed during the last couple of years - and that recruiting and retaining healthcare employees have changed, too. The VP will proactively and strategically establish and nurture relationships across the organization to ensure stakeholders' current and future workforce needs are met in an innovative, sustainable way that further positions ProMedica as the employer of choice. This includes a sharp focus on professional development, internal mobility and a commitment to the highest levels of customer service and candidate experience.
The VP is responsible for establishing and meeting or exceeding strategic KPIs and understands their personal and team accountability to meet key metrics, especially in a changing environment with multiple, often shifting, priorities.
The VP builds strategic and equitable search strategies and collaborates with Diversity, Equity and Inclusion to actively develop strategies to recruit and retain diverse candidates who reflect the people we serve and the communities where we live and work. They also manage outside recruitment marketing partners, plans and budgets, and work closely with ProMedica's Marketing Communications team managing brand awareness, to support and improve the system's recruitment and retention goals.
The VP excels at solving problems. This leader possesses solid business acumen; an executive presence; personal and professional credibility; excellent decision-making, strategic planning, and team management skills; and the ability to influence others and to communicate clearly and persuasively with all stakeholders, including senior management and board members. The VP is an experienced business developer with a record of exceeding goals and is a trusted business partner who works closely with others across the organization.
The VP reports to the Chief Human Resources Officer and serves as a member of ProMedica's HR Leadership Team. The VP manages a centralized team of remote employees.
Other Specific Responsibilities Include: - Collaborate with HR and Operations Leadership Teams to identify and develop workforce planning strategies for hard-to-fill positions and special case recruitment sourcing strategies. - Monitor and analyze both the methods and results of Talent Acquisition strategies. - Oversee and motivate a large team of remote TA professionals. - Establish relationships and maintain up-to-date contracts with external staffing agencies, external recruitment firms, and consultants. - Direct efforts to ensure compliance with any applicable Federal, State and Local laws and regulations, as well as internal policies. - Has administrative oversight of the applicant tracking system, ensuring that the system's capabilities are maximized and that there are content experts available to address day-to-day operational needs. - Responsible for developing and maintaining department budget. - Oversee development of trainings for system personnel related to recruitment functions.
Job Requirements - Bachelor's degree in Business or related area required. - MBA or Master's in related field preferred. - 5+ years of senior leadership or director level experience. Experience in Health Care is a plus. - Must have a minimum of 10 years of experience in full-cycle recruiting, sourcing, screening/interviewing, and employment branding experience. - Proven success with creating and implementing customer service strategies for both internal and external customers. - Must have working knowledge of industry leading applications, background vendors, and other systems that are part of or may support the candidate experience (preferably as part of an integrated talent management system), centralized recruitment operations and best practices, sourcing strategies, social media strategy, and HRIS software. - Must be able to communicate and respond to inquiries in an effective and efficient manner; excellent interpersonal skills required.
