Summary You will serve as a MATERIALS EXAMINER AND IDENTIFIER in the Naval Supply System Command of NAVSUP FLT LOGISTICS CNTR YOKOSUKA. Responsibilities You will receive, examine, verify, and identify complex categories of materials and equipment, which includes toxic, radioactive, perishable, and classified material, as well as high-value equipment. You will conduct comprehensive searches of documents and uses precision measuring tools to perform product acceptance/rejection inspections. You will monitor special programs, computerized listings, documentation/records and responsible for updates and accuracy inputted into computer programs that monitor the unit's inspection programs, suspense's, and discrepancies. You will maintain equipment/vehicles to ensure proper operation and readiness for future use and inventories and inspects equipment/vehicles on a regular basis.
