As a Senior Specialist, Systems Engineer, you will contribute to a Systems Engineering team in design, development, implementation, testing and training of/for command and control systems for our warfighters. This position supports the Space & Airborne Systems (SAS) division, a great team of talented professionals with world class technical expertise who take a collaborative approach to engineering and enjoy working together. Essential Functions:
Performs Systems Engineering activities related to IT & Engineering including: Requirements definition, Analysis & engineering, System analysis & design, Interface & data architectures, Systems integration, System operational performance analysis
Ensures the logical & systematic conversion of product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, & cost constraints
Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation & interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into HW & SW or engineering specifications
Provides specific, detailed information for selection, implementation techniques, & tools for the most efficient solution, including present & future capacity requirements
Managing large-scale Agile or SecDevOps teams/projects, to include support to cost estimating, baseline & risk management, schedule development, performance monitoring & reporting
Experience leading waterfall-to-agile transformations, designed to deliver Minimum Viable Products in a consistent cadence
Experience with a broad range of system types: custom & COTS/GOTS HW/SW, & specialty engineering of exotic material/limited supply items. Experience in cloud-hosted development, I&T capability
Experience with CM/DM, HW/SW test & evaluation of classified systems
Experience implementing cyber solutions in existing DoD systems
Qualifications :
Bachelor's Degree and minimum 9 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 13 years of prior related experience.
Experience with RADAR and/or phased array antenna principles.
Experience with requirements development, allocation, validation and verification required. Experience with requirements databases such as DOORs.
Active secret security clearance

Excellent communication and presentation skills and the ability to work harmoniously in a team environment with government customers and other contractors
Experience negotiating solutions among functional groups (Systems Engineering, Mission Engineering, Software Engineering, etc.)
Analytical and troubleshooting skills demonstrated by related work experience
Strong coordination and organization skills with a focus on details

In compliance with Colorado's Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the salary range for this role in Colorado is $106,500.00 - $197,500.00 (salary ranges in other locations could differ). This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
