Arden Courts of Austin is hiring a Resident Services Coordinator - Director of Nursing RN or LPN!
As the Resident Services Coordinator, you'll oversee day-to-day activities and personnel within your service area. Because you are always in contact with residents and families, and to guarantee their satisfaction, this position requires tact, sensitivity, and professionalism. As the Resident Services Coordinator, you are a member of the Resident Services Team. You are the coordinator of this team. You and your team are responsible for supporting the Arden Courts Mission and achieving our goals.
The Resident Services Coordinator will:
Implement all policies and procedures established in the Risk Management and Infection Control Manuals to maintain a safe environment Assess and monitor residents' health care needs through appropriate actions, training, consultation, and delegation Hire, train, supervise and develop Resident Services Supervisors and Resident Caregivers Delegate tasks and monitor service delivery for Resident Services Supervisors and Resident Caregiver staff Order and maintain inventory of health-related supplies, equipment and supplemental services for residents Creates an environment that encourages excellence; Promotes open communication between employees and management Works with Executive Director in making move-in/move-out decisions and in developing individualized service plans Completes nursing assessment and state required forms Reviews building compliance with all corporate, federal, state, and local resident care guidelines
License: Currently licensed as LPN in this state Education: Bachelors Degree in Nursing preferred. Experience: 2 years of nursing supervisory experience required. 5 years in long-term preferred.
