The Business Application Manager is responsible for all aspect of the ERP (J.D. Edwards E1), Business Intelligence, Mobile Barcoding, Forms, and other solutions that are used to support four ITW Divisions. Business Application Manager will direct internal and external resources to support business applications, day-to-day operations, and lead a variety of projects. Business Application Manager will work with business leaders to ensure the ERP is optimized and will drive initiatives to ensure functionality and security. Works closely with Director of IT, EDI-eCommerce Manager, Network Supervisor, and business leaders to outline and execute business systems strategies.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all aspects of J.D. Edwards E1, Business Intelligence, Mobile Barcoding, and Forms solutions.

  • Manage internal and external resources to support day-to-day operations and projects.

  • Work with managers and business leader to identify business needs and incorporate into business systems strategy.

  • Coordinate upgrades to JDE E1 and business system software applications.

  • Works with team to troubleshoot day-to-day operational issues, identify root causes, and implement solutions to mitigate recurrence.

  • Create functional and technical specifications and direct development teams to complete projects.

  • Ensures JDE functional support and training is provided to end users and efficient use of software is being promoted.

  • Lead/participate in Core Teams and host frequent meetings to review issues, documentation standards, and common procedures.

  • Fulfill data requests utilizing tools available.

  • Maintain disaster recovery plan for all business applications and coordinate periodic testing of disaster recovery process.

  • Maintain system development standards and ensure adherence to standards.

  • Lead a variety of Projects in support of business systems.

  • Additional related duties as assigned.

  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Information Technology related field or equivalent work experience.

  • 7+ years' experience in IT management with at least 3 years managing JDE EnterpriseOne.

  • 2+ years' experience supporting an integrated Bar Code RF solution.

  • Experience in deploying, supporting and optimizing a leading business intelligence tool.

  • Ability to lead cross functional teams.

  • Proven attention to detail with high-level problem-solving skills.

  • Proven ability to complete complex projects and meet aggressive deadlines.

  • Experience in providing support to manufacturing and distribution environment.

  • Extensive project management or certification in project management a plus.

  • Lead a variety of Projects in support of business systems.

  • Can be based out of one of the following office locations: Houston, TX; Solon, OH; Lakeland, FL; or San Luis Obispo, CA. A U.S.-based remote work environment may be considered for this position.

  • 10 - 30 % travel may be required.
