The Senior Treasury Analyst will support broad treasury activities with a primary focus on capital markets and global liquidity. The role will be centered on providing analytical support in capital structure and financial risk management as well as international liquidity and cash investments. The ideal candidate will possess a solid analytical background and excellent communication skills to implement recommendations across the Company.
Primary Responsibilities
Provide analytical support for capital structure and capital allocation activities such as debt issuance, share repurchases and presentations to rating agencies and the Finance Committee
Prepare treasury reporting packages and assist with global cash and debt forecasting
Manage liquidity requirements and monitor foreign cash currency / counterparty risks
Understand the impact of foreign exchange and develop risk mitigation initiatives
Liaise with investment consultants to monitor U.S. pension and 401(k) assets
Assist on projects related to Insurance and M&A activity
Provide Treasury support to the ITW Tax, Audit, and Legal departments
Identify opportunities to eliminate complexity and automate recurring tasks
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration required.
Minimum of 3 years of corporate, audit or banking experience
Detail oriented with solid organizational skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to develop and maintain relationships with corporate departments and business units globally
Ability to drive initiatives, identify improvement opportunities and take ownership of projects
Advanced Excel and PowerPoint preferred, experience with workflow software a plus
Foreign language skills a plus
