Summary You will serve as a Traffic Managment Specialist in the Personal Property Office of NAVSUP FLC NORVA GF. Responsibilities You will have a wide range of knowledge in traffic management policies , principles, practices and experience with the Household Goods (HHG) program. You will deal with policy, programs, or operating problems that involve standard traffic management issues. You will ensure consistent interpretation of the regulations related to the DoD program You will demonstrate competence in the DoD personal property program and accomplish different work assignments. You will have skill in analyzing data, preparing and presenting communications to ensure the customers needs are met. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-09) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: I have one year of specialized experience performing Traffic Management Specialist work at or equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-09) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector utilizing a wide range of knowledge in traffic management policies , principles, practices and experience with the Household Goods (HHG) program. Also experience with DoD personal property program concerning shipments and storage of personal property and goods. Specialized experience may demonstrate the following:1) An understanding with policy, programs, and/or operating problems that involve standard traffic management issues; 2)Work with policy and operational oversight of the personal property program; 3) Skill in analyzing data, preparing and presenting communications both oral and written with customers and their needs; 4) Identifies problems and solutions with regard to policies and procedures pertaining to DoD personal property shipment program; and 5) Providing entitlement and assistance to customers moving under the personal property program . .
