Division Description:
ITW Shakeproof Industrial Products (SIP) serves major OEMs and their tier suppliers direct and through distribution channels in the industrial market. SIP supplies metal stamped & cold headed fasteners totaling approximately $67M in revenue annually. Manufacturing / Warehouse locations include Milwaukee, WI; Broadview, IL; Watertown, WI; and Iron Ridge, WI.
Over the past 5 years, SIP has streamlined the manufacturing operations and product offerings that has resulted in a significant increase in operating efficiencies at all plants. SIP is now embarking on aggressive revenue growth and is searching for an additional Account Manager for the division, who will focus on managing and growing ITW Shakeproof Industrial Products.
The Account Manage r manages all aspects of the assigned accounts within the division. Develops and implements innovative sales programs and introduces new products within account assignment. Develops and implements plans to deliver strong net margin growth. Maintains, grows, and develops strong customer relationships. Manages allotted budget within assigned parameters. This position involves selling the full portfolio of brands to the assigned account(s).
Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for Customer(s) product, price, and brand strategy.
Maintain coordination with inside sales team to create a full omni-channel customer experience
Manage short term and long-term representative relationships.
Develop in conjunction with commercial team and execute sales strategies to profitably grow all assigned brands.
Implement comprehensive sales and marketing programs.
Partner with Inside Sales and assist Sales Manager to analyze sales trends, manage forecasts and identify opportunities.
Coordinate and manage onsite advertisements to effectively optimize sales growth.
Evaluate competitive products, pricing, promotions, and sales strategies.
Ensure inventory forecasts and SD&A spends are accurate and in place.
Collaborate with Divisions' Marketing and Brand Management Tea on product pricing, promotions, advertising, and new product introductions.
Assist in the development of targeted national and regional media campaigns and promotions.
Plan, manage and attend account specific trade shows
Other project or related duties as needed by Team
Bachelor's Degree in business or related field.
2 to 3 years of industrial goods sales experience minimum
Strong customer focus, communication, decision-making and influencing skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Suite - Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.
Strong presentation creation skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Strong project management and organizational skills.
Ability to work in a team environment is essential.
Drive for results and strong negotiation skills
Valid driver's license.
Up to 40% travel time, dependent on remote office and territory assigned
