Mechanical Engineering New Grad Hire
KBR Sustainable Technology Solutions (STS) provides holistic and value-added solutions across the entire asset life cycle. These include world-class licensed process technologies, differentiated advisory services, deep technical domain expertise, energy transition solutions, high-end design capabilities, and smart solutions to optimize planned and operating assets.
KBR is looking for a Mechanical Engineering New Grad Hire to assignments requiring knowledge and application of basic electrical engineering principles. You will use judgment in making selections and adaptation of engineering alternatives and perform specific and well-defined assignments.
Functional job responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Perform mechanical engineering, including, but not limited to:
design, specification, selection and services relating to mechanical equipment such as rotating machinery, pressure vessels, atmospheric storage tanks, fired and unfired heat transfer equipment, utility equipment, packaged units, material handling and solids processing systems
May also include design, specification, selection and services of mechanical systems for buildings such as gases, fluids, and heating, ventilating, air conditioning and vertical transportation.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
Recently graduated from an accredited college or university with a baccalaureate or master's degree in mechanical engineering
Strong communication skills are required along with the ability to work in a team environment
Experience and skill with SolidWorks and/or Pro-E and FMEA is preferred
