We currently have an exciting and impactful career opportunity as an Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) Technician. In this role, you will participate in the design, implementation and maintenance of EHS programs and associated policies and regulations.
What you will do:
. Perform inspections and tests planned to monitor specific EHS issues, regulations and company practices.
. Assist in training employees on EHS guidelines, company policies and procedures, and regulations pertaining to EHS.
. Make and maintain necessary EHS records according to established guidelines.
. Contributes to the development of EHS policies and procedures.
What you will have:
. Process Management: Knowledge of business process improvement tools and techniques; ability to understand, monitor, update, control, or enhance existing business or work processes.
. Effective Communications: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.
. Initiative: Being proactive and committing to action on self-identified job responsibilities and challenges; ability to seek out work and the drive to accomplish goals.
. Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Policy Compliance: Knowledge of Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) policies; ability to implement EHS policies to ensure that provided products and services are safe for people and the environment and in compliance with legal requirements and standards.
