Are you passionate about Video Games, Coding, Python, RobloxTM, App Design, Digital Movies, Robotics, Drones, MinecraftTM or STEM?
We are seeking enthusiastic, motivated and talented individuals to work as Lead Instructors and Assistants in our after school program in Bel Air, MD. Lead instructors guide students through our world class project based learning curriculum to learn new technology skills in coding, Minecraft, ROBLOX, video editing, game design and more! Assistants are responsible for helping lead instructors in this mission.
Seasonal (4-8 weeks), with options to continue into additional seasons
Get in-room technology experience with excited students
PAID training!
No formal experience required, but teaching experience in some capacity highly preferred
Requirements
Experience with Minecraft preferred
Reliable transportation to Bel Air, MD
Must be available to teach from 3:00 PM - 4:15 PM Wednesday and Thursday
Lead Instructors must be at least 21 years of age and have experience working with children ages 8-14 and/or technology
Assistant Instructors must be at least 18 years of age and have a strong tech background
Experience with children in an educational setting preferred but not required
Background in education or technology required
Comfortable working with teacher to student ratios of 12/1
Strong technology skills preferred, such as a background in 3D modeling, digital arts, coding, game creation or design, animation, robotics, modifying games, video editing, competitive gaming, etc. or significant knowledge of Minecraft or Roblox, including modding.
All staff are required to get fingerprinted and pass federal and state level background checks

Additional Details:
This is a seasonal, part-time, hourly position
Lead Instructor rates are commiserate with experience, ranging from $16-$20 hourly
Assistant Instructor rates start at $13-$14/hr
