Responsibilities
Work closely with senior engineers on design, development & improvements to state-of-the-art cathodes, electrodes, pumping, gas delivery systems and chambers materials for wafer processing reactors
Design or modify mechanical engineering layouts/schematics/specifications of moderate scope
Perform engineering analysis; perform and document engineering tests
Generate related alpha/gamma documentation for product release
Coordinate the procurement and assembly of mechanical components/equipment and identify sources of critical parts and subsystems to resolve moderately complex technical issues
Troubleshoot a variety of mechanical problems of moderate difficultly
Implement concepts of moderate product issues and mechanical solutions
Design, develop and the implementation of custom mechanical tooling, fixturing, and associated processes to enable the handling, assembly and/or disassembly of parts, components, sub-assemblies and final assemblies throughout the product life cycle
Requirements
Recent graduate with an appetite to grow a career in the semiconductor industry
Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
Masters or PhD preferred for key roles requiring advanced subject knowledge
Must be in good academic standing. Recommend a GPA of 3.0 or above on a 4.0 scale
Able to solve complex problems and take a new perspective on existing solutions
Ability to exercise judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information
Explains difficult or sensitive information; works to build consensus
Flexible and adaptable mindset who thrives in a results-driven culture
