Some travel may be required with this position.Directs all phases of research/development/delivery of training programs for employees; consults with agency leaders and work teams to determine present and/or future organizational/individual development needs; provides consultative/technical support to agency personnel regarding the planning/scheduling/ delivery of training programsResearches/develops/implements training materials; writes and develops training curriculums; produces/ develops/evaluates/acquires audio-visual aids and computer-based software for use in training programs; evaluates training effectiveness; recommends/determines revisions; implements revisions to specific training programs; prepares reports on progress of assigned phases of trainingAll you need for success:Minimum Qualifications:Three or more years of experience as a Staff Development Trainer with the Missouri Uniform Classification and Pay SystemORTwo or more years of professional or technical experience in a business, governmental, or military setting, where the primary duties involved formal classroom training, training course design and development, and/or curriculum planning;ANDa Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with a minimum of 15 earned credit hours in one or a combination of the following: Education, Business or Public Administration, the Social Sciences, or a closely related field.Additional professional or technical experience in the above mentioned fields may substitute for the required education at a rate of one year for 30 credit hours.All requested documents MUST be received by the closing date listed.The Missouri Department of Corrections is proud to have a tradition of promotion from within for employees looking for and seeking distinctive career paths.
