About the role:

As a member of the Reman Reverse Logistics team, you will be responsible for supporting Cat Reman's core return exchange process. You will provide leadership to a team of international Reman representatives who support dealers on their core return processes. You will become a subject matter expert in dealer return processes, customs compliance, international trade, and high-level accounting concepts related to international core returns. The position is challenged to carefully evaluate problems and review many possible solutions before selecting one option. Problems may be complex and can require the incumbent to develop solutions. You will lead complex projects to implement and improve processes related to core returns. You will be accountable to ensure project deliverables are achieved on time, within budget and scope while leading, motivating, and encouraging teamwork. You will identify, write, and test business requirement changes to Core Returns IT system to support current and new processes. This position impacts key quality goals including Customer Satisfaction, Compliance, Continuous Improvement, Cost Savings, and Process Quality.

What you will do:

  • Provide leadership and coaching to global direct reports including goal setting, performance management, and development activities.

  • Administer dealer core return policies.

  • Develop and implement Business Process Support solutions for continuous improvement and new business.

  • Lead cross-functional high complexity projects.

  • Investigate and resolve complex dealer and IT system issues.

  • Work with IT on system requirement changes for new projects and recurring issue resolution.

  • Use data analytics to assist in solving problems and evaluating potential solutions.

  • Manage customs compliance processes related to core returns.

  • Collaborate with team members, operations, marketing, engineering, and accounting resources to support current and new business processes.

What you will have:

  • The position requires a college or university degree or equivalent experience.

  • 10+ years of progressively responsible job-related experience.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills are required to deal with sensitive issues, develop others, or influence others inside and outside the department to take specific actions.

  • Strong project management skills, leadership skills, excellent communication skills, ability to multitask effectively, and strong analytical and organizational skills.

Top Candidates will have:

  • Previous supervisory experience.

  • Prior 6 Sigma Black Belt Experience.

  • Broad knowledge of company policies and processes.

  • Working knowledge of aftermarket parts distribution commercial systems and processes.

  • Dealer facing experience related to account management

  • Global business, customs compliance, logistics, and international trade experience.

  • Demonstrated data analysis skills; SQL, Oracle, Power BI, Excel
