The Warehouse Specialist will pick transfer orders, stage material, receive product, and perform inventory control tasks. The Warehouse Specialist is assisted by the Warehouse Driver.Responsibilities:Provide quality customer service to include but not limited to the following:Attention to detailReview, familiarize with and adhere to Policy and Procedures Manual.Review, familiarize with and adhere to MANCONs SOPs and Safety Manual.Meet and greet customersAnswer questions regarding availability of partsOperate a forkliftParts Pick up and DeliveryDrive vehicle to designated locations to purchase/pick up partsProvide company documentation to vendors as required (tax exempt form, credit references)Review all invoices at vendor location to ensure accuracy on pricing and quantitiesReturn products to MANCON location in a timely fashionTransfer material between MANCON locationsData Entry RequirementsEntry of vendor receiving documents in the inventory systemEntry of transfer documents in the inventory systemInventory Management RequirementsPicking and staging of transfersReceipt of itemsPerforming weekly inventory cycle countsPerforming counts during Wall to Wall inventories at siteOther RequirementsFollow established guidelines for vehicle and equipment maintenanceProvide 24 hour support at the VDOT location during emergenciesAssist with inventory research projects as requestedAdhere to required proceduresParticipate in the SCM continuing training programAssist with Store Supervisor duties as assignedRequired Qualifications:24-hour availabilityValid Drivers License with two years driving experienceObtain and maintain a forklift licensePreferred Qualifications:- Delivery Driver experience- Auto and/or heavy duty truck parts experience- Inventory experience- P1 or P2 ASE certification- Current COVID-19 vaccinePhysical Requirements:Medium work - Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.Physical Requirement Details:Work is mostly performed in storerooms and warehouses which may have uncontrolled temperatures and dirt/dust/damp conditions.Work is also performed in vehicles traveling to sites.Physical Activity:Driving, Lifting, Reaching, Sitting, Standing, Stooping, WalkingBackground Checks Required:Other, VDOT Background CheckSkills test Required:Driver's License, Forklift LicenseMANCON participates in E-verify.
