Maintain and update confidential information related to pertinent employee records, including both hard copy and electronic records (personnel, medical and training)
Support the recruiting process by screening resumes, application forms, schedule and confirm interviews with candidates
Compose and revise correspondence, reports, forms, and other information using acceptable business formats. Proofread final copy for errors.
Address daily employee queries using judgment to escalate when necessary
Assist in the onboarding process, including meeting with new employees and facilitating their new hire paperwork and benefits enrollment
Participate in organizing company events, including job fairs, employee celebrations, and wellness efforts
Create and update internal fliers, newsletters, and internal documents as needed
Complete other duties as assigned or directed.
Experience with MS Office
Organizational skills
Must be able to maintain confidentiality
Previous training or experience in office-related skills helpful
Demonstrate attention to details, accuracy and willingness to learn
Excellent grammar, writing, organizational and proofreading skills
Must possess teamwork ethics and customer service mentality with the ability to communicate and work effectively with personnel at all levels of the organization.
Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources or related field of study
Junior or Senior in college/university preferred with availability to work on site around 20 hours per week
