Field Support Specialist - Drop Service

Located at 755 Jefferson St, Atlanta, GA

Job Summary:

This position is located at the 755 Jefferson St Atlanta, GA 30318. This position is Hybrid (3 days in the office, 2 days remote). The primary responsibilities for the Field Support Specialist position include scheduling drop service requests for residential and commercial/industrial customers and generator installs. Phone skills are needed for answering internal and external customer phone calls. The successful candidate must be willing to work Monday - Friday 7:30 am - 4:30 pm

Responsibilities

  • Provide top tier customer service scheduling inbound drop service requests from customers and/or electricians

  • Utilize and maintain multiple statewide resource calendars to view and schedule available times for customers and/or electricians.

  • Assist with Drop-Service and account requests from our internal customers.

  • Audit teammates Drop Service Requests to ensure information quality and timely scheduling

  • Assist in the successful transition to OFS systems

  • Provide support for Storm Restoration efforts

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Bi-Lingual skills Preferred

  • Knowledge of CSS, ARMS 3, OFS, Business Area Viewer, and the Service Order process

  • Self-motivated with the ability to schedule and prioritize work

  • Attention to detail

  • Customer Focused

  • Able to control and handle outside distractions

  • Ability to interact with internal/external customers and contractors

  • Have excellent listening skills and communication skills

  • Previous Customer Service Experience

  • Demonstrates personal computer skills with Microsoft Office products

Job Requirements:

Education

  • High School Diploma or Higher Testing

  • Successful completion of the EEI Customer Service Rep Test
