Who We Are:

HII Technologies is looking for a Program Manager 3 in Fairfax, VA. The program manager will work closely with the customers and subordinate Program Leads, receiving and refining requirements on a daily basis.

The Program Manager's responsibilities include the leadership and management of all projects and the program as a whole ensuring that all requirements are met on time, within budget, and within scope. Sets deadlines, develops/communicates/documents accurate forecasts, assigns responsibilities, monitors, and summarize progress of projects in compliance with all Contract Deliverables. Prepare reports for government customers and Business Area Managers regarding the status of the program. Position will be hybrid with onsite and remote work.

What You Will Do:

  • Responsible for the performance, schedule, and cost of several technical projects that role up into a larger program reporting to the Program

  • Manager.

  • Directs and supervises all support resources for the performance of project assignments and activities.

  • Manages the technical direction of a project through the design, implementation, and testing in accordance with project objectives.

  • Responsible for all aspects of the development and implementation of assigned projects and provides a single point of contact for those

  • projects.

  • Takes projects from original concept through final implementation.

  • Interfaces with all areas affected by the project including end users, computer services, and client services.

  • Defines project scope and objectives.

  • Develops detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports.

  • Conducts project meetings and is responsible for project tracking and analysis.

  • Ensures adherence to quality standards and reviews project deliverables.

  • Manages the integration of vendor tasks and tracks and reviews vendor deliverables.

  • Provides technical and analytical guidance to project team.

  • Identifies risks and develops plans to remove or mitigate risk

  • Manages one or more programs. May supervise professional and technical personnel performing in their regular disciplines.

  • May participate in the development and execution of budgets, sales and marketing plans and other strategic tools.

  • Participates in driving initiatives for achieving established objectives.

  • May serve as the primary or assistant technical and management interface for the company, customer, and senior staff.

  • Provides management services including general administrative oversight, time accounting, financial tracking, cost projection, inventory

  • management, personnel evaluation and support.

  • Responsible for the preparation of and delivery of contract deliverables.

  • Responsible for assisting in the technical leadership and direction to a multidisciplinary staff.

  • Operate a variety of software applications related to the specific job function.

  • Specify systems requirements and insure that completed systems meet requirements.

  • Prepares and reviews Standard Operating Procedures, Protocols, and other internal documentation.

  • Leads by example and works to inspire peers, subordinates and superiors

What We Are Looking For:

  • 8 years relevant progressive experience with Bachelors in related field; 6 years relevant progressive experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 12 years relevant progressive experience.

  • 4 years of demonstrated experience managing DOD performance-based projects and/or programs with multiple geographically dispersed performance locations.

  • Strong leadership, ethical, diplomatic and motivational skills including the ability to lead up, across, and down multiple business and technology organizations.

  • Able to supervise, manage, support, and evaluate personnel.

  • Clearance- Active Top Secret

Preferred Requirements

  • DAWIA PM Program Management

  • PMP certification
