Summary You will serve as a Fuel Distribution System Worker Supervisor in the Oceana Fuels Division of NAVSUP FLC NORVA GF. Responsibilities You will supervise the mechanical operation of facilities and equipment including hot pits, pumps, pipelines and tank farm systems to receive, store, issue, and transfer jet fuel, and to store and distribute liquid oxygen and nitrogen. You will plan and determine present and future requirements for and maintains and operates facilities, equipment and systems. You will conducts on-the-job training initiates and reviews personnel actions and enforces disciplinary, safety regulations, and good housekeeping practices You will coordinates day-to-day plans so that work schedules may be met. The Screen-out Element for this position is: Ability to lead/Supervise A sample of duties include: assigning work requirements and operating instructions, determining resource requirements and formulate work plans to accomplish all short term and long range work schedules and project of fuel distribution operations, evaluate work performance and provide corrective action or recommend commendation in performance management, apply Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) principles and requirements to all personnel management actions and decisions. Additionally, independently perform difficult and complex fuel distribution system worker duties such as the operation of facilities and equipment including hot pits, pumps, pipelines, and tank farm systems to receive, store, issue and transfer jet fuel, and to store and distribute liquid oxygen and nitrogen; Provides inspection and quality control services for assigned facilities and products; Prepares requisitions for replenishment of jet fuel, liquid oxygen and nitrogen;, schedules receipts due in from source of supply; and conducts daily inventories on products stored; Determines requirements for petroleum products liquid oxygen and liquid nitrogen based upon various aircraft operating schedules; Plans, organizes and directs work, trains subordinates, ensures compliance with policies for monitoring and maintain bulk fuel and cryogenics inventory; Determines present and future requirements for facilities, equipment and systems.
